Acceptance, understanding and being open to other's perspectives and truths are qualities I strive to embody. I enjoy travelling with people on their journey's and I learn new things about the world and myself through every interaction.

I have been through my own trials and tribulations, as I believe we all do, and have found some peace and reprieve from the harshness of life through my own personal counselling experiences.

I am a BACP registered counsellor and have completed a Post Graduate Diploma (level 7) in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of West London, having previously completed the Pre-Practitioner Certificate in Counselling in 2005.

I work integratively, merging Person-Centered theories with Existential themes and using more creative approaches like Mindfulness, Dream work, Art and Metaphor exploration to help clients gain more insight into their feelings and behaviours.

I believe that we all have the wisdom to know what is best for us as individuals and the ability to realise our own, unique self-actualising journeys.

I have also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (C.B.T) a more solution-focused therapy which provides tools to change thought patterns and behaviours. I am constantly committed to developing my own personal and professional tool-kit.

I have worked with The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead as a counsellor for a Youth and Community Counselling Charity as well as working within a Substance Misuse Agency and seeing clients in private practice. Through these positions I offer therapy to a diverse mix of clients with a wide range of issues.
